Meet Elise & Kevin | Kevin and I share a common passion for basketball. The first time he talked to me he asked me for a one vs one on the basketball court when we were 20 years old and 10 years later here we are! As sport lovers, we both work in sport field, I am senior account manager in a sport communication agency and he is international scout for an NBA Team, the 76ers Philadelphia.
The Proposal | Kevin asked me during a road trip in Arizona. He booked a cottage in Sedona in the middle of a canyon, one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I have ever seen. He took me to dinner at the edge of a creek then we walked alongside the creek and it was very romantic. He took a knee, was very nervous and forgot about his speech then asked me to marry him. A very cute and intimate moment.
Finding ‘The One’ | Since my young age, I always wanted to get married. I always loved wedding and everything related to it. Two years before we got married I used to already picture what kind of wedding I wanted, making wedding boards on Pinterest and on my dresses board the Amelie dress was everywhere. Way before I knew I was going to get married I had a big crush on the Amelie dress.
The Amelie Dress | The Amelie dress immediately fit with my curves and my body. I knew it was the one the minute I tried it on. First time I was trying a real wedding dress and it was love at first sight.
The Anna Campbell Experience | I purchased my dress in London at the Blackburn Bridal boutique. I especially came from Paris to try the Amelie dress. I cried when I put the veil on and saw myself in the mirror with the dress. I knew it was the one.
What I love most about the Amelie Dress | Everything! The Amelie dress has everything I was looking for a dress: bohemian look but still very elegant and chic, sleeves, an open back, the beautiful work on the dress with the flowers details and the train.
How I felt wearing my Dress | I felt amazing, I danced all night and most of all I felt comfortable and pretty. Since the wedding I am always looking at the pictures and I still can’t believe this was my dress!
Memorable Moments | The moment I walked down the aisle with my dad, and see my husband waiting for me surrounded by all the people we love. Magic moment. But the real lead up of our day was our family and friends speeches during the ceremony, a lot of tears of joy.
Pearls of Wisdom | Surround yourself with positive people throughout the whole process and of course during the Wedding day. Make sure you take some time during the day to enjoy the present moment.
