With our plunging open back gowns and body-hugging silhouettes, we want you to feel confident and supported on your wedding day. The right lingerie is completely dependent on the brides shape, the cut and sheerness of the gown, and how much support each bride desires. Many have asked what the best lingerie is to wear under their dream Anna Campbell dress, so here is our top recommendations per style.

Each of our gowns will feature different levels of inbuilt structure - from structureless sequin toppers to gowns with inbuilt boning and padding each gown is different, each bride is different and therefore will require a different approach.
Below are some common options - read on to discover the options for your style of gown:
(1) Booby Tape: This trick may sound old school but tape can be great to shape and lift. Tip: ensure you patch test on your skin first!
(2) Silicone Nipple Covers: These floral looking pasties are meant to blend with the colour of your skin ensuring no nipples are showcased.
(3) Adhesive bra: Here the choice is yours - the options are endless. From creating cleavage envy to holding a bigger bust, you’ll be sure to find something to suit the effect and need you desire. Our advice, test try before committing to wear on your wedding day to ensure it sticks comfortably all day.
(4) Inbuilt cups: Many of our dresses come with inbuilt cups and boning. For those that don’t you can add these during your alterations. There are many shapes and tones to choose from - your alterations stylist will be able to guide you to choosing and securing the perfect pair.
(5) Sewn-in Bra: For the ultimate support we can sew a bra into a wide range of our gowns during alterations. Depending on the shape of your gown we can sew in the entire bra, or remove the straps and stitch in just the front creating fantastic shape and security. Often we can also customise our dresses to conceal your bra - make sure you chat to us about this when choosing your gown so we can ensure it is made to suit your chosen bra, to be attached during alterations.

(4) For more serious support, during tailoring we can stitch the back ties a little higher onto the strap to conceal a strapless bra. Be sure to bring a few strapless options to your fitting (leave the tags on if need be!) to find the cut and colour that works best.

4. Emmerson - High Neckline dress

(5) Have your bra sewn in during tailoring. In working with the low, open back we will build just the front of your bra into the gown. If you would like your full bra built in, we can customise the back to raised to conceal your bra straps. Note - this needs to be done when we are making the gown - not during alterations.

Whether you opt for a sexy plunge or a more sophisticated V-neckline, we love the elegance and femininity of how this classic neckline frames the figure. Since this shape brings attention to your collarbones and bust, the right choice of lingerie is a must!
To ensure we keep simplicity, luxury and intrigue to the look we suggest the following options:

(5) Have your bra sewn in during tailoring. Lots of our V necklines feature a low, sheer V back too - so we generally build just the front of your bra into the gown. If you would like your full bra built in, we can customise the back to be lined and raised where necessary - however this needs to be done when we are making the gown - not during alterations.
