AC BRIDE Lou & EM
Brimming with laughter and overwhelming love, the wedding of Lou and Em left us in awe from the moment we saw their incredible wedding photos. Captured by the inimitable Van Middleton, we couldn’t wait to share this beautiful wedding with you.
Wedding Location | Byron Bay, NSW Wedding Date| 20th October 2019
Meet Lou & Em | Lou is a strength and conditioning coach, while Em is a nurse. When we first met we were seeking fun and adventure together, and form that our love for life and each other flourished. Now we are happy as one, but our happiest when together.
The Proposal |I proposed to Emma at our favourite beach in Sydney under the night sky. There’s a reason why women often aren’t the ones to propose. I was so emotional I could barely get the words out haha
Finding ‘The One’ | My Mum was the one who actually sent me a picture of the Anna Campbell dress I wore. In an instant I knew it was the one I wanted! I loved the shape of the dress, I really felt it would compliment my body type. I LOVED the back of the dress and how the sand coloured slip really accentuated the beautiful lace.
Memorable Moments | The most memorable moment would definitely be the moment I first saw myself all done up and in my dress before we were about to get married. I genuinely felt beautiful and so happy inside.
Surprising Moments | My wife and I were engaged for 18 months before we got married and in that time we promised one another to never disclose any information about each others wedding dress! Our dresses were so similar and ended up complimenting each other perfectly.
The Dress | I felt B.E.A.UTIFUL! My favourite element of the Jamie dress was the sand coloured slip that accentuated the lace. I have Anna Campbell to thank for helping me with the best day of my life, for being the one’s that ensured I felt the most beautiful I have in my life.
Dress: Jamie Dress
Photographer: Van Middleton
Videographer: Little Red Productions
Venue: Fig Tree Restaurant
My wife and I are huge lovers of the beach so weren’t naturally drawn to Byron Bay. The Fig Tree wasn’t actually our first venue choice, but the moment we saw it and were welcomed by the warmest of welcomes, we were sold, and consequently forfeit our other venues deposit. No regrets.
