Tell us about your wedding!: Our wedding was set at a racecourse in the wairarapa approximately 90mins out of Wellington, New Zealand. We wanted a blank canvas of a venue that we could put our own mark on but tied in to our love of socialising, attending events and enjoying Summer vibes. We booked in the date we first went on our first date 11 years prior so that was special. We had approx 120 people on an incredibly HOT January day.
We got married in the grandstand looking out to the race course which was a beauitufl vista. Key things we wanted were, good food, good alcohol, good vibes and ALL of our vendors provided this. The dance floor was full until buses took people home. The ceremony was incredibly emotional as both our kids were present as were speeches and the whole vibe at the reception, We had a lot of love surrounding us.
Bright pink signage was a MUST but I wanted to incorporate the pink which is a big part of my personality in a classy way which I think we were able to pull off. All in all an absolutely brilliant day with amazing vendors. We were so lucky to have everything run smoothly and have the day of our dreams. Can we do it again??
I chose my dress because...: Right from the first time I saw the river dress online I knew it was the dress I wanted. I saved in and screenshotted it and thought it was absolutely stunning. A mixture between elegant but fun and showed a glimpse of my bubbly personality. Not long after getting engaged I booked to try on dresses and it was the first one I tried on and I was ready to swipe then and there. It was beautiful! I loved everything. A few weeks later I went back again albeit I was a few months pregnant so keen to buy something before I looked too big to try things on. I went back with my mum and auntie and showed them and we all immediately knew it was the one and i bought it then and there. I was soooooo happy! I loved how the shape fitted me and how the beading was party but elegance. It was all perfect.
My experience with Anna Campbell was...: So easy, the sizings allowed enough room for flexibility especially as I was going to be post-partum.
