SHARE IN NIKKI’S JOURNEY TO SAYING ‘YES TO THE DRESS’ AT KLEINFELDS NEW YORK

Tell us about your wedding: We got married at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, VA (USA). The aesthetic was a beautiful mix of classic art and modern twists, just like my dress!

The weather could not have been more perfect. We were surrounded by so much love from friends and family as we danced the night away!

Nikki wore our Tahlia Fitted Gown, crafted from intricate hand embellished beadwork and 3D floral detailing, which complemented her wedding perfectly.

.“I never thought I would buy a fit-and-flare dress because I had always dreamed of a big ball gown but I absolutely loved the way my dress fit to my body. I loved the floral decals and the bits of shimmer that went perfectly against the classy museum backdrop.”- Nikki

My fiance's reaction to me walking down the aisle was: Lots of smiles! He's not much of a crier but I could tell he was emotional and overwhelmed. He held my hands so tight all throughout the ceremony and we kept giggling when we looked at each other for too long.

My favourite moment from my wedding day was the fantastic dance party we had during the reception. I was so relieved to be done with wedding planning and so happy to be starting the rest of my life with my best friend by my side! -Nikki

Nikki purchased her gown at the iconic Kleinfeld Bridal in New York and described it as a dream come true.

“My grandmother spends HOURS watching "Say Yes to the Dress" so I was super excited about the dress but bummed when Kleinfeld didn't carry the matching veil. I happened to find the Tahlia veil in the archives of the Anna Campbell website and inquired about its availability. Turns out it was the last one left! I could not have asked for better luck and I was so happy they were able to ship it to the US for me!”-Nikki
